Second Grade

I’m excited to share a little about myself! I have been teaching at Arlington for 20 years, and feel fortunate to be part of such a wonderful school community. I earned my undergraduate degree from Grand Canyon University and my master’s degree with an emphasis in reading from Northern Arizona University.

I believe in setting high expectations for myself and my students. I strive to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to work hard, grow, and reach their full potential. I believe that with dedication, encouragement, and a little perseverance, students can accomplish great things!

Outside of school, my family keeps me busy! My husband is a third-generation farmer and beekeeper, and together we have two daughters. Our youngest stays busy with volleyball, FFA, and all the fun activities that come with high school. Our oldest is in the honors program at college, and we are so proud of both of our girls!

I feel blessed to be part of the Arlington community and look forward to another great year of learning, growing, and making a difference in the lives of my students!
