Mrs. Mikels
My name is Stephanie Mikels and I am the fifth grade teacher at Arlington. I have been teaching for over 15 years, all of them at Arlington. I have taught 5th-8th grades, and I really enjoy working with the older ages. Fifth grade is a fast-paced year with lots of exciting topics and materials to cover. My goal is to send them on to jr. high prepared with the academic and organizational skills they will need to handle different teachers and changing classes.
I am an Arizona native and love exploring this great state. When I’m not at school, I love to be outdoors hiking or running and just enjoying nature. If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding your child, please email or stop by so we can discuss it. I’m looking forward to another great year and getting to know your child!
